Schools out for a week! (already?!?!) Take a look at our top 5 suggestions for things to do with your children this week.

1. Take a splash at Meridians Leisure Centre

Swimming never gets old. Its great for all ages. The Meridian Leisure centre has swimming activities on all this week and the flume is open daily from 10am all week. Take a bit to eat in their yummy cafe after. Take a look here afterward for more information -

2. Take a look at the animals at Rand Farm Park

There is always loads to do at Rand! Take a ride on a tractor, play on the soft play and check out the animal handling at set times throughout the day. Rand has always been a massive hit with my kids and I love it myself as well. Rushmoor Country Park is also fab, this has been taken over by new owners and also has falconry there now but unfortunately theyre closed all through February. Theres always next time though!
Check Rands website out for more info -

3. The Play Factory!!

Every parents nightmare. Every childs dream. The Play Factory is fab and under 1s are free. Sit down with a cup of coffee whilst your kids play on the soft play. They also serve great food too. The perfect place for that rainy day. Check out their website for more info https://www.playfactorylouth.co.uk/

4. Cleethorpes Boating Lake

Take a walk around cleethorpes boating lake. Its free and its always a lovely place to visit. Look out for swans and ducks and take some snacks to eat on a bench. You can also visit the centre for free and look at the art exhibitions and look out to sea from the observatory. There is also a sandpit and paddling pool, but that will have to wait until the weather improves a little bit!! It is also close to the bowling alley, the cinema and lots of fast food places in case the weather takes a turn for the worse. https://www.visitcleethorpes.co/cleethorpes-discovery-centre-boating-lake/

Last but definitely not least - Hubbards Hills!  I have many memories of Hubbards Hills from my childhood, its a fantastic place to visit. Dogs are also welcome. but please remember to take bags to clean up any mess. Check out their website (there is some lovely photographs on there)
